Halit Ünver is Professor of Technology and Innovation Management at the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management in Frankfurt a.M./Germany. He is an advisor for digital transformation, sustainability, and international relations. Ünver is involved in think tank activities at UN/G20/EU level. He is advisor to the CEO of the Research Institute for Applied Knowledge Management (FAWn), member of the advisory board of the European Technology Chamber (EUTEC) and worked as director for international relations at the Senate of Economy Europe. The Alcatel Foundation for Communication Research, the Vodafone Institute for Society and Communication, the Mercator Foundation, the Forum for Responsibility Foundation are among his previous supporters.

Dr. Ünver received his PhD in “Global Networking, Communication and Culture – Conflict or Convergence” at Ulm University in cooperation the Humboldt University of Berlin. He was post-doc at the Institute for Databases/Artificials Intelligence at the University of Ulm and visiting researcher at the Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin University. He completed executive education at Imperial College London Business School, was member of the Young Leaders Group of European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT) and was awarded at the Annual Innovation Forum 2013 in Brussels. He studied computer science and economics and gained industrial experience at Daimler AG in the fields of commercial vehicles, IT management, and R&D.
