Academics Stand Against Poverty

Utilizing scholarship to influence policy and public attitudes to poverty.

Established in 2010, Academics Stand Against Poverty (ASAP) is a non-partesan, independent global organization aiming to eradicate severe poverty worldwide. We work toward this by leveraging the unique knowledge and standing of academics, in order to influence policy and public attitudes. With our base in New Haven, Connecticut, we provide a global community for scholars who seek to have a more meaningful impact on poverty. The Global Justice Program supports the efforts of ASAP through conferences and projects. To learn more, click here.
