David Álvarez García 2008-2010

David Álvarez García received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) with a dissertation on cosmopolitan and international justice. Before coming to Yale he had combined his research interest on Global Justice with a teaching position at the University of Vigo (Spain). He came to Yale in 2007 as a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow to work on cosmopolitanism and global justice with Seyla Benhabib and Thomas Pogge. His works in progress are a project on global health and local accountability and a book on global institutions and the transformations of citizenship.
