María Julia Ochoa Jiménez

María Julia Ochoa Jiménez is Professor of Private International Law at the University of Antioquia (Colombia). She is from Venezuela and holds a PhD in international law from the University of Göttingen (Germany). Her research interests focus on the fields of public and private international law, the ways they relate to cultural expressions, human rights, and indigenous rights. María Julia is co-founder of the Venezuelan chapter of Academics Stand Against Poverty (ASAP).
