Najid Ahmad 2020

Najid Ahmad’s research focuses on sustainable development, poverty, environmental economics, global warming and climate change. He holds a PhD degree in economics and is currently employed as Associate Professor at School of Business, Hunan University of Science and Technology, Xiangtan, China. Having had eight years of teaching and research experience and having authored several international publications, Dr. Ahmad has twice been awarded the Chinese Government Outstanding International Researcher Award.

Dr. Ahmad is currently spearheading a poultry project for poverty alleviation in remote rural areas of Pakistan. Previously, the French Government had invited him to contribute to its global emissions reduction program.
